On a passage from San Juanico about 10 miles or so south, due to building winds and swells, the Author found it necessary to anchor in the lee of the cliff in the foregroumd. Anchorage was taken in about 30 feet well below the punta and under the circumstances was reasonable to the extent of a restfull nights sleep. Further to the east, the bay shallows considerably thus limiting anchorage in that direction. However, to the souh and nearer to the shorline, the Author on several occasions has noticed fishing boats at anchor. |
